I have a little crush on a younger man

Scary! I don’t like to date younger men. I have in the past and I just feel I am in a different place than they are. I’m already a mom and want the happy family life. A warm, caring husband and more children. Someone to snuggle up on the couch with watching a late night movie. Someone to go to bed with and be able to hold close without necessarily having sex.

I find younger men are still exploring their options. Actually knowing what I know today, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to get married under age 30. Life’s perspective changes so much 30. You really know what was near and dear to your heart and at that point you are ready to settle down. But men that are younger do not always want to get serious right away. I don’t blame them but then that makes me on a different level. So i just prefer to avoid them.

But I have a crush on a man whom is 7 years younger. He’s in the navy, handsome and attentive. He seems interested in me but who knows. Maybe I am reading too much into it. There is also some distance between us, so it just may not evolve.

right now, I don’t care. I just like talking to him and I like how he makes me feel when he says sweet encouraging words to me.
