Myspace Is Not The Place To Pick Up Single Moms

I’ve always received some pretty strange messages form men on Myspace but I received one two days ago that just makes you ask yourself “Who taught him to pick up on women? Does he even know how to talk to a woman?”

im just going to get straight to the point……I WANT YOU!

Seriously is this how he thinks women want to be talked to? Surely he must know that just about every female walking on this planet NEVER want to be approached in this manner. I do realize it’s the internet so people are less inhibited but c’mon, at least throw me a decent and boring comment like every other Joe online like “You have a beautiful smile”.

Which reminds me. Just two days earlier I got a better message from a man on Myspace. At least this guy took a better approach:

I just wanted to tell you what a pretty smile you have. I know it’s cheesy and unoriginal, but I had to go into work early today and my head just isn’t right. Hopefully, if you get back to me, I’ll have come up with something more clever and suave.

You seem sane enough to befriend. Hope to hear from ya!

It’s just a shame I don’t take Myspace seriously and wouldn’t met anyone on it. I just see it as a huge network for people to booty call or post lame drunk photos of themselves. I am more the Facebook and Twitter type.
