San Jose Is One Of The Best Cities For Meeting Men

I am totally addicted to The Millionaire Matchmaker on BRAVO. I love Patti’s realism and brutal honesty. A few days ago she appeared on the Tyra Banks show and she gave dating advice to women.  I will try and remember what they were.

1.) Have long hair – she says men love long hair on women. They want a woman with soft, touchable and flowable hair.

2.) Wear red on a first date – studies show men are more drawn to a woman in red than in black

3.) When you stand so that he can see you, pop your hip out to one side to show a curvy silhouette – men are drawn to a woman’s curves

4.) Don’t go out with your girlfriends – men are going to approach the woman that is by herself

5.) Have a bio card – instead of a business card, make a card that has a photo of you in casual wear, list of hobbies and phone number

6.) Always wear the proper bra that lifts “the girls”

7.) Only give a man 6-9 months to determine if you are “the one”. Maximum 1 year, unless you do not want to get married yourself.

8.) Wear heels! – She says men think 3-5 inch heels on women is the absolute sexiest thing

9.) Some cleavage is ok to show but not too much

10.) Close your legs – Make a man earn it! Do not sleep with him early on. A keeper won”t pressure you to have sex right away.

11.) DO NOT CALL HIM – A man is to call you.

12.) Do not wear too much jewelry – otherwise he will have nothing to buy you.

She also gave a list of the top cities to actually meet a man and fall in love.

3- Boise, Idaho
4- Minneapolis, Minnesota
5- Dallas, Texas

Ok, I live in San Jose and she said the ratio is 11 men to 1 woman. What the heck man?! Why am I still single???? Oh yea….because I only seem to date online. You can read more about Patti’s tips on the Tyra Blog.

I’m thinking of trying Patti’s advice one night. Maybe in another weekend or two, I will go out alone, wearing red and 4 inch heels, sitting at the bar sipping on some Chardonnay…. alone.
