Update on TB.
I hadn’t heard from him since I gave him a response to this. After I totally avoid his question he had called me out on it and noticed I had avoided the question. So I responded with a basic answer that would set him straight and hopefully keep him as a friend. This was my response a few months back.
Heya, I hadn’t thought much about “things”; holidays had my attention
but I really like the way my life is now. My son and school keep me very
busy and have no room for anything else. I hope you and your girlfriend
have a great Valentine’s Day. (I can’t believe it will be here before we
know it.)
So I hadn’t heard from him since I sent that to him in January. Lastnight I received a response to that message, in which he simply said “hi”. I wrote him back and asked how things were. He responded with:
Hangin in there.. I’m about to pop the big ? this weekend.. How r u doing?
I don’t understand how just 3 months prior he was asking me what do I think about “us” all the while he was with his current girlfriend. Fishing to see if I would bite so he could possibly cut her lose and give things with me a try and now he is just so certain about his girlfriend that he wants to marry her?!?! This just seems bazaar to me. I don’t get it.
