I was playing my silly little online game tonight when a friend popped up behind me and completely surprised me. Now I have checked out his character a million times before and tonight of all nights, I notice he has something written on his comment that got me to thinking.
Now Dan is very positive, intelligent and just seems like a general swell type of guy. His comment was along the lines of if you could do something without fail no matter how big, what would you do.
I’m a failure. Yup, its what I do. I will attempt something and then fail. Perhaps I even begin the task at hand knowing that I will fail as the end result. This thinking often leads me to not even want to try. So as I read his comment and he begin to question me about it, I came up with an answer. I’d want to invent something and I’m thinking more along the lines of an online service. After coming up with this super, spectacular, ingenius idea, I will sell the rights to the highest bidder and be well off the rest of my days.
Since being on my spring break, I’ve come to realize just how much I miss being able to workout in the mornings AFTER the sun has been up a few hours. Or the fact that at 5pm when people are stuck in traffic, I can start dinner and watch Rachel Ray cook something up in less than 30 min. I love the fact that I can hop online at any time of the day to check my emails, message boards and keep track of my caloric intake through Sparkpeople. Oh how I’m going to miss this life I’ve been accustomed to.
I just need to start getting creative!
